Terms

Last updated 29 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-29

These terms cover your use of Panelworks. The section about who is responsible for a design is the one that matters most, and it is written plainly rather than in capitals.

Who you are contracting with

Panelworks is operated by Nevid Grupp OÜ, registry code 14845652, VAT EE102439100, of Sepa 17c, Tartu 50113, Estonia. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means the person who holds the account.

Reach us at hello@panelworks.eu. The version of these terms you accepted at signup is recorded against your account, so you can always be told which text you agreed to.

The service

Panelworks is software for designing low-voltage electrical distribution boards: placing devices on DIN rails, wiring circuits, sizing conductors against standards, and producing schematics, single line diagrams, bills of materials and schedules from one project document.

It is in Early Access. Features may change, move or be removed, there may be defects, and we do not promise any particular level of availability. There is a free version and a Pro version; Pro is EUR 19 a month, excluding VAT.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. One account is one person - if colleagues need access, they need accounts. Tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has access.

You must be at least 16, and if you are using Panelworks for an employer you must be authorised to accept these terms for them.

Panelworks is a design aid, not a designer

This is the clause this product needs most, so it is stated first and without hedging: Panelworks recommends conductor sizes and checks disconnection times, and it is a design aid. It is not a substitute for a qualified electrical designer, and it does not become one because its arithmetic is right.

The designer who signs an installation remains responsible for it. Nothing produced here transfers any part of that responsibility to us, and nothing here is a certificate, an inspection, a verification or a professional engineering opinion. No output of it may be presented as one.

Every result must be checked against the national rules that apply where the installation is being built. Conductor sizes, protective device ratings, discrimination, earthing arrangements and every standards reference the product offers are suggestions to be verified, not conclusions to build from. Standards change, national annexes differ, and installation conditions - ambient temperature, grouping, insulation, the length of a run, the state of a supply - are facts about a building that no software can see. We may be wrong about any of them at any time.

If you use a result without checking it, that is a decision you made and not one the software made for you.

No warranty

Panelworks is provided as it is and as it is available. So far as the law allows, we make no warranty of any kind about it: not that it is fit for a particular purpose, not that it is free of defects, not that it is accurate or complete, not that it complies with any standard, and not that it will be available when you need it.

The component catalogue is compiled from manufacturers' published data. We do not warrant that any figure in it matches the part in your hand - check the datasheet.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.

Subject to that, and so far as the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, business, contracts or goodwill, for the cost of rework or of an installation being rejected, or for any loss arising from a design that was not independently verified as the section above requires.

Our total liability to you for everything arising out of or connected with these terms is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred euros. On the free version the fees are nothing - the honest consequence of a free service, and one more reason to check your work.

Your work is yours

You keep every right in the boards you create. We claim no ownership of your designs or your data, nothing you design is used to train anything, and nothing is shown to other users or published anywhere.

We store and process your work only to provide the service: to save it, show it back to you, generate documents from it and back it up. You can export any project at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from Settings.

The application, its interface, the component catalogue and the engineering rules behind it remain ours. Please do not resell or sublicense access, reverse-engineer the software, extract the catalogue in bulk, attack the service, or use it to break the law.

Availability

There is no service level commitment. We will take reasonable care to keep Panelworks running and your work safe, and we take backups, but we may take the service down for maintenance, and parts of it may be unavailable without notice.

Export exists so that your work is never trapped behind our availability. Use it for anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending it

You may stop at any time by deleting your account, which deletes your data with it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, attacks the service or puts other users at risk. Except where the law or the seriousness of the breach prevents it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your work first.

If we discontinue Panelworks we will give reasonable notice and keep export working throughout.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the product before they take effect, and the version recorded against your account tells you which text you accepted. Continuing to use Panelworks afterwards means you accept the new one; if you do not, you can delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, and any dispute goes to Tartu County Court, Estonia.

If you are a consumer, that does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
